Description

This is one of the most interesting large jigsaw puzzles by Educa: The Capitulation of Granada, or The Surrender of Granada, by the Spanish painter Francisco Pradilla. It is very rare now, and very difficult to find in new condition. Educa has published three different editions of this puzzle. This is the first one from 1993, with the traditional Educa striped box. The second one appeared in 1995, with a yellow box, which is probably the rarest version. Finally, the last version appeared in 1996, in a black box.

The puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bags. The box is in good condition, with just some minor wear to the edges and corners.

With this puzzle, Educa continues its tradition of publishing large fine art puzzles, such as Alexander the Great visiting the Studio of Apelles, by Willem van Haecht. In recent years, they are selecting works from contemporary artists, but many puzzle fans miss the classic art themes like this one.
