Description

This puzzle by Clementoni has been out of catalog for some time. Although it surfaces sometimes, it is becoming very rare. The title is Allegory of Sight and Smell, and the artist is Jan Brueghel the Elder. The paintings by the Brueghel family of artists are very popular among puzzle fans. However, most of them are now very difficult to find.

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL. There is a bump on one of the sides.

In 1982 Nathan published a 3000 piece version of this same painting with the title Sight and Smell.

On the other hand, there are several puzzles with allegories of the senses. The Allegory of Sight, also by Jan Brueghel the Elder has a 6000 piece version by Nathan, a 3000 piece version by Schmidt, and a 1500 piece version by Educa, among others.

Clementoni also published an identical version of this puzzle in a black box.
