Description

This is an old and very rare puzzle by Waddington (John Waddington Limited). The year of production is not clear. On the side of the box it says 1969. However, on the back of the box and also in small print in the puzzle itself they printed 1966. The title is A Winter Scene with Skaters near a Castle, by Hendrick Avercamp. You can admire the original painting  at the National Gallery, in London.

The puzzle is COMPLETE, as you can see in the picture of the assembled puzzle. The pieces are in very good condition, although they show signs that the puzzle has been assembled before. The box is in good condition, with some shelf wear.

Mauritshuis published a 1000 piece version of Winter Scene, also by Hendrick Avercamp.
