This is a magnificent and very rare jigsaw puzzle by Schmidt, belonging to their Galerie series. The title is Battle of Trafalgar, by the English marine painter Clarkson Frederick Stanfield.

This puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL. There are some tears on the seal, as you can see in the photographs. There are also some stains on a corner on the base, and some scuffs.

There are several puzzles with different renditions of this naval battle. F.X. Schmid published a very rare 1500 piece version of Sea Battle of Trafalgar, by William E. D. Stuart.
