Description

This puzzle is an absolute gem that Educa manufactured in 1982. For that reason, it is one of the oldest large art jigsaw puzzles by Educa. The title is The Washerwomen, by the Spanish artist Joaquim Vayreda. Although the information doesn’t appear in the box, the authors of the painting are Joaquim and his brother Marian Vayreda. It is extremely difficult to find.

The original work is at the Garrotxa Museum in Olot, Spain, which was the home town of the brothers.

This puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bag. The box is in very good condition, although a little tatty, which is normal for an almost 40 years old puzzle. However, most of the wear is to the base, as you can see in the photographs.

In case you lose a piece while putting it together, there might be compatible replacements available for this puzzle in the Missing Pieces section.

Educa manufactured another 500 pieces version of this puzzle in 1992.
