This is an excellent puzzle by Trefl. The title is Historical Map of the World. Although there is no reference to the author in the box, the cartographer was Claes Janszoon Visscher. The complete title is Nova Totius Terrarum Orbis Geographica Ac Hydrographica Tabula.
This map is also part of the 18000 piece puzzle Historical World Maps, which Ravensburger published in 2002.
The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL
It is often confused with the 6000 piece version or the 2000 piece version of Magna Carta, both by Clementoni .
