This is an extraordinary puzzle by Schmidt. The title in the box is Naval Battle, and there is no reference to the artist on the box. The real title of the painting is The Taking of the “Kent”, by Robert Surcouf in the Gulf of Bengal, 7th October 1800. The artist is Ambroise Louis Garneray.

You can admire the original painting at the MusĆ©e d’Histoire de la Ville et du Pays Malouin, in Saint-Malo, France.

The puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bag. The box is in very good condition.
