1000, Pomegranate, Captive Andromache, Leighton

Pomegranate manufactured this wonderful puzzle in 2010. The title is Captive Andromache by the British artist Frederic Leighton, who needed over a year to complete it. You can visit the original painting at the Manchester Art Gallery. Although the puzzle is not very old, it is already rare and difficult to find.

Leighton, the acknowledged leader of the Victorian classical school of painting had a glittering career as a painter of historical and mythological scenes. He was president of the Royal Academy in 1878. Leighton is the only English artist to be ennobled. This honor gave him the full title of Baron Leighton of Stretton.

This puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL.
