Description

MB manufactured this rare puzzle in 1974, and is now very hard to find. The full title is Wood Carving, Ort Margen, Tirol. The puzzle shows the beautiful gothic wooden altar at Saint Margareth Church, in Margen. The three female figures represent (from left to right) St. Catherine of Alexandria, St. Mary Magdalene, and St. Margareth of Antioch.

The puzzle is COMPLETE, as you can see in the photograph of the puzzle assembled. The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in good condition, yet the base shows its age and it has a tear on a corner. The lid has a small tape tear from a price tag, some dents, and its colors have faded sightly on one side from sun exposure, as you can see in the pictures.

Another beautiful puzzle featuring St. Catherine of Alexandria is the 500 piece puzzle version of the Altar of Saint Catherine, by Ravensburger.
